Editing can be simple or time consuming and involved. Pricing usually depends upon the writer's expertise in English and the complexity of the work or project. *
Send two to three pages of your story, a description of your project, or send your web address for assessment. We'll determine your costs and promptly give you a price quote, determined by the hour or per word.

*Average costs vary but tend to range as follows: 4¢ per word for basic proofing, which includes spelling, grammar, and punctuation; 7¢ per word for basic proofing plus sentence content and structure corrections; 10¢ per word for technical proofreading, which involves detailed corrections and term checking. Creative work averages $75 per hour or by project details and illustration pricing is determined by piece. A minimum fee of $30 applies. Payment may be made with a personal check. Half your payment will be expected at the start of service.
